Norwegian January Oil, Gas Output Fell MoM

Norway’s total liquids production in January fell to 2.071mbpd, down from 2.122mbpd in December but 0.8% above the forecast, NPD data showed.

  • January oil production declined by 2.2% on the month to 1.87mbpd, but output rose 2% above the NPD’s forecast.
  • Natural gas production in January fell by 1.3% on the month to 378.4mcm/d and stood 0.2% below the forecast. Output, however, was up 5.2% on the year.
