Norwegian Oil and Gas Production Beats Forecasts in June

Norwegian oil and gas output rose in June, beating forecasts according to the Norwegian Offshore Directorate on Tuesday.

  • Natural gas production rose to 340.2 mcm per day in June from 322.2 mcm a month ago. It exceeded the official forecast of 319.3 mcm by 6.5%.
  • Crude oil output rose to 1.74 mn bpd in June from 1.70 mn bpd in May, and ahead of its official forecast of 1.73 mn bpd.
