*Dollar-yen opened in Asia toward the lower side of the Y113.31 to Y113.91 range
witnessed yesterday, where markets had a risk-off feel with softer commodities
and weaker equities, helped to underpin the Yen.
*Dollar-yen drifted from Y113.47 to Y113.37 in early trade before meeting demand
*Tokyo-fix related buying pushed the pair up from near Y113.37 to Y113.50
*Post-fix, lower US rate yields and a softer Nikkei pressured the dollar down to
Y113.03. Demand surfaced to see the dollar edge higher to Y113.24 as early
European markets began to open
*Demand has been touted around the figure, with key support then seen at
Y112.83, which marks the 61.8% fib retracement on Y111.65 to Y114.73 rise, while
Asia's Y113.50 top provides resistance
*US October CPI and retail sales data the main focus for markets in the session
ahead
