Novak Says Too Early to Talk About Nov OPEC+ Decision

RUSSIA
  • Speaking in an interview to RT Arabic TV, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said it’s still too early to talk about what market decisions OPEC+ may take at its meeting in November. “Different options are possible, like raising the output or cutting it, tapering of the cuts or extension,” Novak said. The decision will depend on a range of factors, including global economic growth. As per Bloomberg, Novak added current prices indicate the global market is not considering risks of the Israel-Hamas war for oil as too high.
  • Russia will provide RUB1.4trln, or $15.6b, in state loans to other countries in the next three years, according to an explanatory note to the budget law for 2024-2026 seen by Izvestia.
  • President Putin takes part in CIS leaders’ summit in Kyrgyzstan today. There are no notable data releases.
