NTMA Cancels Another E500mln Of Jun-53 Floater

NTMA announces it has cancelled E500mln in 18 June 2053 floating bonds "which were issued in connection with the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Act 2013...were purchased today from the Central Bank of Ireland."

  • This has become a routine occurrence, with the outstanding principal on the 2053 (ISIN: IE00B96PQX65) down to E1bln coming into today, vs E5bln at issuance 10 years ago.
