Nudging Away From Overnight Lows At Re-Open

The final overnight session of last week was relatively narrow in range terms, with futures biased a touch lower, although the major contracts have edged ever so slightly higher after the re-open, with YM now printing at unchanged levels, while XM is -1.0 vs, Friday's settlement levels.

  • There was little in the way of local news flow to rock the boat over the weekend, with the Australian government noting that both federal and state leadership groups will discuss the expedition of the country's COVID vaccine rollout.
  • There is little of note on the local docket on Monday, outside of the RBA's latest round of scheduled ACGB purchases.
