NW European LNG Sendout Falls

LNG sendout to Europe has fallen back from around 330mcm/d at the start of the month to 268mcm/d on 10 Sep driven by a decline in flows to NW Europe down to 121mcm/d.

  • Northwest Europe has received 14 cargoes so far this month with another 24 cargoes currently scheduled to arrive in the next couple of weeks according to Bloomberg ship tracking data. Total LNG imports into NW Europe in August were 53 cargoes with 52 in July.
  • Of the cargoes scheduled this month, 61% originate from the US including 10 of the shipments already arrived.
  • LNG imports to Europe and Turkey surged 13% week on week to a three-week high of nearly 2.6bcm, according to Kpler ship-tracking data on Monday.
