KIWI
KIWI: NZD/USD last trades at $0.6748, 15 pips or so higher on the day, as the
rate benefits from a degree of USD weakness vs. G10 FX.
- This comes after the pair added nearly 40 pips Friday, as Fed Chair Powell's
cautious rhetoric allowed the rate to unwind the early, largely NFP related,
weakness.
- Bulls eye a clean break above Friday's peak/55-DMA at $0.6752/54, which would
allow them to target the 21-DMA at $0.6764, followed by the 50-DMA at $0.6776.
Conversely, bears look to the 100-DMA at $0.6679 and a move through that level
would shift their attention to Friday's intraday low of $0.6672.
