NZDM notes that "the Treasury has today announced that NZ$4.0 billion of the nominal 15 May 2030 New Zealand Government Bond has been issued via syndication."
  • "The bonds, which carry a coupon of 4.50%, were issued at a spread of 4 basis points over the 20 April 2029 nominal bond, at a yield to maturity of 4.71%. Total book size, at final price guidance, exceeded NZ$8.5 billion."
  • "Settlement will occur on 14 March 2023 and there will be no further issuance of the new bond prior to June 2023."
