OI Data Points To Fresh Shorts Dominating Net Positioning Moves On Tuesday

US TSY FUTURES

The combination of yesterday’s cheapening and preliminary open interest data indicate that a combination of fresh shorts and long over drove net positioning swings across the Tsy futures curve on Tuesday, with the addition of fresh shorts outweighing the reduction of longs in DV01 equivalent terms. FV, US & WN futures saw fresh shorts added on net, while TU, TY & UXY futures saw longs covered on net.
