OI Points to Little Movement In Euribor Futures Positioning On Tuesday

EURIBOR

The combination of yesterday's uptick across most of the Euribor futures strip and OI data reveals limited net positioning swings in net pack terms on Tuesday.

  • Rounds of net long setting seemed to be offset by short cover through the blues.
  • The latest round of (lagged) ECB wage data had little meaningful impact on the strip.
  • Cross-market spill over provided as much/greater impulses.
  • ECB pricing showed little deviation vs. levels registered on Monday, with participants awaiting inflation expectations, ECB meeting minutes, ECB speak and PMI data later this week.
