OI Points To Mix Of Net Long Setting & Short Cover In SONIA Futures On Tuesday

STIR

The combination of yesterday's rally in SONIA futures and OI data points to a mix of net long setting and short cover through the blues, although contract specific net OI swings were contained.

  • U.S. matters helped the rally, as did a lack of fresh speculation re: fiscal easing going beyond the widely expected 2ppt cut to NI, we resserted itself as the baseline expectation.
