Kazakhstan's energy ministry said on Wednesday that the country's giant Kashagan oilfield will halt production for 38 days to conduct maintenance likely beginning on Oct. 3.

  • CPC loadings are expected to total 1.05m-1.10m b/d in October, down about 250k b/d from September, mainly due to planned maintenance at Kashagan.
  • CPC was being discussed at a premium of as much as 30 cents/bbl last week, the highest since at least the start of the pandemic.
