OIL: Oil prices have edged higher in Asian trading, with Brent up 70c at $55.05
and WTI up 66c at $46.55. The slight recovery has done nothing to address the
downtrends.
- The resumption of dollar weakness has failed to provide any support to oil
markets.
- Bloomberg reports that OPEC and its allies will give greater clarity on their
strategy to stabilize oil markets on Friday by publishing a list of production
cuts agreed by each country, according to people familiar with the matter.
