  • Volumes for VLSFO totalled 2.51m mt in October, up 11% on the month, as spot demand picked up due to weaker bunker premiums.
  • HSFO volumes jumped to multi-year highs of 1.8m mt as more ships with scrubbers came online.
  • Some buyers also capitalized on a wider hi-5 spread.
