OIL: U.S. Oil Exports to China Show Some Recovery
OIL
U.S. crude exports to China showed a recovery in recent months after hitting a multi-year low in August according to Kpler when imports were dented by sluggish fuel demand and weak margins.
- China’s crude imports from the U.S. came in at 24,000 bpd in August – the lowest since February 2020.
- The flows rebounded to 134,000 bpd in September and 130,000 bpd in October.
- That still remains around half average of 259,000 bpd in 2023.
