US TSY/RECAP: On Friday Tsys traded higher across the curve with the long end
outperforming.
- Heavy volume tied to March/June roll action was seen, otherwise average levels
in a generally quiet end to week.
- Tsys opened with a carry-over bid from early London hours. Support started
with a move in EGBs, particularly Gilts and Bunds post-Euro CPI & German GDP
data. Follow-through buying/unwind of sharp mid-week sell-off. Early month-end
extension buying.
- Little to no reaction to multiple Fed speakers was seen on the day, same for
the release of the text of the MonPol Report ahead of Tuesday's semi-annual
testimony by Fed Chair Powell.
- T-Notes last at 120.22+, 10-Year yields last 2.866%.
