OPEC Members Consider Suspending Russia: WSJ

Some OPEC members are considering suspending Russia in an oil production deal as sanctions by the west impact the nation’s ability to increase production according to Wall Street Journal reports citing OPEC delegates.

  • Exempting Russia would open the possibility for other members to increase production, though Saudi Arabia and the UAE are the only two with meaningful capacity and ability to do so.
