OPEC+ Talks Ongoing, No Meeting Delay Expected

OPEC+ is continuing to hold talks on the group’s 2024 output policy, but no delay to the meeting is currently expected, two OPEC+ sources told Reuters.

  • "The negotiations are ongoing, but no delay is expected," one of the sources said.
  • Both Reuters and Bloomberg sources led stories on Tuesday suggesting the meet could face delays as the impasse on the quotas Nigeria and Angola remained in place.
  • Chief OPEC Correspondent Amena Bakr said on X in the last hour “One day till the opec plus meeting and talks are expected to continue today among members.”
