EURO-DOLLAR: Opened in Asia at $1.1852 toward the upper side of the $1.1768 to
$1.1858 range seen yesterday, where after initially slipping lower on news of
the Spanish government taking steps to take control in Catalonia, the Euro
recovered as UST yields started to weaken and finished the day gaining the
upper-hand against the greenback. There is no data or schedule events in Asia
likely to impact trading, traders expect consolidation ahead of the European
open and the release of German PPI. Initial resistance is located at $1.1871
(daily trend-line drawn off $1.2092 high), while hourly support is found in the
mid-$1.1820's.
