DOLLAR-YEN: Opened in Asia at the lower side of yesterday's Y112.37 to Y113.09
range, where the dollar surrendered all of yesterday's gains late in the US
session as UST yields weakened further and equity gains fizzled out. Locally,
Nikkei Services/Composite PMI's provide a modest event risk, due at 0030GMT. The
main focus will be on the Nikkei, futures were last down 0.35%. In option space,
nearby expiries for today are seen at Y112.00($1.17bn) and Y113.00($816mn).
Support is located at Y112.23 (38.2% fib Y110.84-113.09 rise), while hourly
resistance is seen at Y112.85. Dollar-yen is currently changing hands at
Y112.48.
