EURO-DOLLAR: Opened in Asia toward the middle of the $1.1829 to $1.1902 range
witnessed yesterday, where firmer bund yields and hefty demand in euro-yen was
seen to underpin the single currency. There is no data in Asia likely to impact
trading, direction will be dictated by euro-yen flows. In option space, notable
options expiries rolling off today at $1.1850(E706mn), $1.1868-70(E676mn),
$1.1879-80(E752mn) and $1.1900(E719mn), may act to contain the near-term range,
at least for the Asia session. Key-resistance is noted at $1.1904 (76.4%
$1.1961-$1.1718), while hourly support is located at $1.1855. Euro is currently
changing hands at $1.1872.
