EURO-DOLLAR
EURO-DOLLAR: Opened toward the middle of yesterday's $1.1818 to $1.1883 range,
upbeat German CPI pushed the euro to the high before board-based US dollar
strength countered to leave the euro broadly unchanged on the day. There is no
economic data or scheduled events in Asia to impact trading, direction will
likely come from euro-yen flows. In option space, there are E2.79 billion worth
of expiries rolling off today between $1.1838-45 that should act to contain the
range, at the very least for the Asia session. Hourly support is seen around
$1.1830, while yesterday's $1.1883 high provides initial resistance. Euro-dollar
was last at $1.1852.
