Operator Eyes FID For Stade LNG This Summer

The final investment decision to build the Stade LNG terminal will be made by the end of June according to Montelnews citing the operator Hanseatic Energy Hub.

  • The start of the land-based terminal in Stade was pushed back to early-2027, from 2026 previously scheduled, as the operator is working to make it ready to receive green ammonia, according to Hanseatic Energy Hub.
  • Last month, EnBW entered a capacity agreement to import 3bcm/yr of LNG at the terminal. The deal will run for 25 years.
