PBOC Injects Net CNY150 Bln at OMOs Tuesday

     BEIJING (MNI) - The People's Bank of China injected CNY130 billion in
seven-day reverse repos and CNY20 billion in 28-day reverse repos at open-market
operations Tuesday, Shanghai-based financial data provider Wind Information
said.
     This resulted in a net injection of CNY150 billion for the day. No reverse
repos mature Tuesday. 
     The CFETS-ICAP money-market sentiment index ended at 58 Monday compared
with 47 at Friday's close. The lower the reading the better liquidity in the
interbank market.
     The PBOC is expected to make an official announcement on its website about
Tuesday's OMOs at 9:45a.m. Beijing time.
     The benchmark seven-day repo average was last at 2.7310% compared with
2.9223% Monday.
