PBOC Sells Swaps, Supports Perpetual Bond Issuance

China's central bank said it sold CNY5 billion 3-month bill swaps (CBS) at 0.1% to primary dealers on Friday to support the issuance of perpetual bonds by commercial banks. The first issuance of CBS this year is intended to help dealers swap out perpetual bonds while boosting demand, the bank said on its website.
