PDVSA’s Jan-May Oil Exports Rose 13% YoY

Venezuela’s PDVSA exported 13% more oil on the year during the January-May period according to a person familiar with the data.

  • Merey 16 exports were the highest in May at 50.6mn barrels, followed by 21.2mn barrels of fuel oil and 11.8mn barrels of diluted crude oil.
  • The firm said earlier this month it aims to produce 900kbpd in June and 1mbpd by August. Oil production reached 838kbpd in May, preliminary figured from PDVSA showed.
