PEPP Purchases Pick Up

ECB

The ECB's net PEPP purchases ramped up to E19.1bln in the week ending Sep 17 from E14.7bln a week earlier, the highest total in 9 weeks. Overall net purchases rose to E21.5bln from E17.8bln prior, despite slowing PSPP and CSPP buys.

  • The 4-week average of PEPP purchases ticked up to E15.5bln from E14.9bln the prior week (i.e. E60+bln in monthly net purchase pace).
