Perikatan's Muhyiddin Leaves Royal Palace Without Speaking To Media

Malaysian media outlets report that Perikatan Nasional leader Muhyiddin has now left the Royal Palace without speaking to the media. He was one of the two top contenders for the prime ministerial nomination alongside Pakatan Harapan's Anwar. Both leaders were summoned to a royal audience today after none of them managed to prove that he has the backing of more than half of MPs. Reporters are now awaiting Anwar to leave the Istana Negra amid speculation that the King might hand him the mandate to form the administration.
