LNG: Pioneer LNG Idling as Russia Struggles for Arctic LNG 2 Cargo Buyers

  • The vessel, which was sanctioned by the US last year, has previously offloaded fuel into a floating storage unit in Kamchatka.
  • Another sanctioned vessel, the Mulan LNG, recently began idling south of Norway after likely loading a shipment from a separate storage unit holding Arctic LNG 2 gas.
  • The Mulan LNG was previously signalling Port Said in Egypt.
