The new US Plaquemines LNG export facility appears to have loaded its second LNG cargo on January 5, according to ICIS.

  • The Venture Gator LNG tanker, which berthed on Dec. 27, is now heading out into the Gulf of Mexico.
  • Plaquemines began LNG production on Dec. 14 and the inaugural cargo left for Germany on the Venture Bayou LNG tanker on Dec. 26.
  • Feedgas to the facility as risen to an average of 0.63bcf/d since Jan. 3, Bloomberg shows.
