PM Faces Angry Parliament, As Court Rules Gov't COVID 'VIP Lane' Illegal

  • Following the removal of the whip from Conservative MP Anne-Marie Morris overnight, a total of 54 Conservative MPs are now required to send letters to the chair of the 1922 Committee to trigger a leadership contest.
  • To add to the furor, the High Court has ruled that the so-called 'VIP lane' offered to two firms with links to the Conservative party for the procurement of PPE for the NHS during the pandemic was illegal.
