PM Johnson lead in the polls, ahead...>

EURO-STERLING
MNI (London)
EURO-STERLING: PM Johnson lead in the polls, ahead of Thursday's general
election, continues to buoy sterling and keeps the cross pressing on the base of
its 1.0% 10-dma envelope, currently coming through at Gbp0.8407, rate trading
around Gbp0.8401 at writing. Rate tends not to like being outside of this 1.0%
envelope for too long but if sentiment strengthens further for a Conservative
win this week, with a working majority, we could see rate move below with the
base of the 2.0% envelope then likely to come into view at Gbp0.8322. The 10-dma
currently at Gbp0.8492. Interim resistance noted at Gbp0.8435 ahead of
Gbp0.8467. Interim support Gbp0.8384.
