  • Babis said in election debate that the government won't impose another lockdown as the country prepares for general elections next month.
  • Yesterday, economic showed that data manufacturing PMI fell slightly in August to 61 (vs. 60.5), down from 62 the previous month, but still stands far above the 50-line threshold that separates growth from contraction.
  • USDCZK ticks higher this morning after receiving support at its 100DMA at 21.39 yesterday; next level to watch on the downside stands at 21.20. On the topside, first resistance stands at 21.52 (100DMA), followed by 21.63 (50DMA).
  • Czech 10Y yield remains unchanged, trading slightly below the 1.80% level. Key resistance to watch on the topside remains at 2%. On the downside, first support stands at 1.75% (100DMA), followed by 1.71%.
