Pocket Of Buying Seen As TYU1 Breaks Last Week's Peak

US TSY FUTURES

Recent trade in TYU1 saw a pocket of buying with paper paying 123-28 to 123-29 on ~2.5K. The bid in Aussie bonds (relating to local COVID matters) is no doubt helping, with broader signs of worry re: COVID evident across different Asia-Pac nations. From a technical perspective, the move higher in early trade this week (current session high of 133-30+) has pushed through last week's peak (that break triggered the aforementioned round of buying), with bulls now looking to the July 8 high (134-03) as the next point of resistance.
