Poland’s PGE to Launch 263MW Battery Storage Tender

Polish utility PGE is preparing to launch a tender for the design and construction of a battery storage facility with up to 263MW of capacity in Poland, the firm said, cited by ISB news.

  • The tender will be launched between June-July, with the unit located near the 716MW Zarnowiec hydro pump-storage plant.
  • The unit will be able to store a minimum of 900MWh.
