POWER

All 130MW of capacity on the unilateral auction between Ukraine-Poland (Zamosc-Dobrotwor) for June delivery sold, compared to no capacity awarded for May, data from Polish transmission system operator PSE show.

  • 130MW of Ukraine-Poland capacity sold for PLN0.03/MWh, up from no valid trades for May but lower than PLN1.12/MWh for 265MW for March.
  • Only one participant took part in the auction.
  • In the previous auction for May, 260MW was on offer with only one participant taking part. However, there was no winner due to no valid bids.
  • No auctions have occurred between Poland’s substation near Rzeszow and Ukraine’s Khmenlnytska nuclear power plant station since January due to day-ahead auctions being held on the Joint Allocation Office (JAO) platform.
  • Ukrainian power imports from EU countries could reach as high as 18.82GWh on Wednesday, with no plans to reduce electricity supplies and lower import capacity, Ukrainian TSO Ukrenergo said, cited by XM.
