FED: *** POV: SLEW OF FED SPEAKERS UNLIKELY TO SHAKE MARKETS UP.
- Adding to today's Fed speaker list, Atlanta Fed Pres Bostic at 1240ET,
covering "Economic Outlook and Monetary Policy" at the Rotary Club of Atlanta in
Atlanta, with audience and media Q&A. SF Fed pres Williams (1335ET) and Bost Fed
pres Rosengren (1600ET) will touch on mon/pol and eco outlook at separate events
Mon. 
- Sources asking if any of today's speakers will impact markets today? Fed
speakers always have the potential to impact markets but is unlikely despite the
ample opportunity ahead the January 20 blackout period prior to Jan 30-31 FOMC.
Fed Williams did express 3 hikes for 2018 was appropriate. Atlanta Fed Bostic is
considered middle of the road while Boston Fed Rosengren is closer to the 4-hike
camp and most likely will reiterate that view today barring any substantive view
on inflation ahead Fri's CPI -- the main macro item markets are waiting on now.
Rosengren and Williams are on panels discussing raising the inflation target,
but that remains an "academic exercise" with no plans of up-ending the apple
cart anytime soon.
