POWER: EdF Delays Flamaville 3 Reactor Start to Before End of Autumn

EdF has delayed the start up of the new 1.65GW Flamanville 3 nuclear reactor to before the end of autumn, from summer originally planned, it said. 

  • France’s nuclear safety authority issued EdF to proceed with divergence operator at the reactor, which previously announced to start imminently late July.
  • Fuel loading at the facility has been completed in May.
