POWER: Statkraft Advances 200MW Bess Project in West Yorkshire

Statkraft is advancing the construction of its planned 200MW two-hour BESS project, Thornton Greener Grid Park, in West Yorkshire with the arrival of the first units, it said. 

  • The project is expected to be operational by autumn 2025 and is part of a wider project including the Soay Solar farm which is scheduled to start construction in spring 2025.
