POWER: Ukraine Eyes 200MW BESS Units

Ukraine’s DTEK will build a series of energy storage systems, atotal capacity of 200MW, with the units commissioned no later than September 2025, it said.
- The investment will cost an estimated €140mn.
- Ukrainian energy company DTEK plans to restore up to 70% of its electricity generation lost by Russian attacks by October, it said, cited by Energy Central in July.
- Russia has destroyed around 9GW of Ukraine’s power generation capacity since the start of March.
