Price Signal Summary - S&P E-Minis Continue To Challenge The 50-Day EMA

OUTLOOK
  • In the equity space, S&P E-Minis are trading higher but remain below resistance at 4073.75. The pullback from last week’s high means that price has - so far - failed to remain above pivot resistance at the 50-day EMA. The average intersects at 4019.45 and the contract is testing levels above it again today. A clear break of the EMA is required to strengthen bullish conditions. Support lies at 3937.00, the Mar 24 low. The next resistance to watch is 4073.75, the Mar 22 high.
  • EUROSTOXX 50 futures are trading higher today. The contract remains below 4164.00, the Mar 22 high, where a break is required to cancel a recent bearish threat and instead confirm a resumption of the recovery that started off 3914.00, the Mar 20 low. A break higher would open 4184.00, a Fibonacci retracement. Initial key support to watch has been defined at 4034.00, the Mar 24 low.
