Large number of headlines from Kremlin spox Dmitri Peskov hit wires. Kremlin states that President Vladimir Putin will address military personnel who upheld order during the mutiny from the Kremlin's Cathedral Square shortly.
- Claims that the Kremlin has no information on the whereabouts of Wagner PMC head Yevgeny Prigozhin. Regarding the closure of the FSB treason case against Prigozhin and Wagner, Kremlins states that the deal that was made to end the mutiny is being implemented and that 'Putin always keeps his word', saying that they hope that all sides in the deal will do as they promised.
- Kremlin refuses to comment on Wagner issues re: those Wagner troops that have gone to Belarus and whether they will participate in the 'special military operation' in Ukraine, what will happen to Wagner recruitment centres, how many Wagner fighters will sign contracts with defence ministry.
- On whether Putin's position has been weakened, Kremlin says 'there is a lot of hysteria on the subject right now from pseudo-specialists', adding that the views have 'nothing to do with reality' and that the level of consolidation in society around Putin is 'very high'.
- Says that Putin and Belarus' Alexander Lukashenko 'exchange opinions and coordinate on a daily basis'. Earlier, speaking to officials Lukashenko warned of the risk posed to Belarus by instability in Russia, stating "My position: if Russia collapses, we will remain under the rubble, we will all die"
