Economists still looking for "monster" jobs gain Friday, mean estimate for April NFP has climbed back to 995k after some economists lowered their estimates slightly after Monday's ISM miss.
Well above consensus, Morgan Stanley economists estimate +1.25M jobs, "alongside a decline in the unemployment rate from 6.0% to 5.6%. We see average hourly earnings remaining flat on the month in April, while strong negative base effects lower the year-over-year rate from 4.2% to -0.4%."
