DOLLAR-CANADA
DOLLAR-CANADA: Rate edges further into negative territory, hitting C$1.3375, the
lowest levels since Wednesday last week. The cloud top may provide some support
from here, kicking in at the C$1.3367 level ahead of C$1.3352, the 200-hma, and
the Feb14 high at C$1.3340. Support from commodity markets has helped so far
today, with WTI and Brent crude futures up just over 0.5% apiece. There's little
on the domestic calendar in Canada today with few key risk events until a speech
from BoC's Wilkins on Thursday. This keeps attention on the Canadian political
situation, with PM Trudeau coming under further pressure to react to the ongoing
SNC scandal.
