AUSSIE: Rate pulls back to the lower levels of the day as USD regains a modicum
of support and as commodities prices continue to suffer: WTI and Brent crude
futures trade lower by 1.5% apiece (although off the worst levels of the
session). Support for AUD/USD may kick in at the 50-dma at $0.7170 and the
21-dma just below at $0.7137. Any fall through here would open the 1.0% 10-dma
envelope at $0.7089. Australian CPI data takes focus from here forward, with Q4
CPI due on Jan30, exp at 0.4% Q/Q and 1.7% Y/Y.
