CABLE: Rate was pressed down to a low Monday of $1.3028, from an early Asian
high of $1.3134 only to recover to $1.3097 ahead of the close. Asia
consolidation between $1.3086/94 for most of the session before it lifted to
$1.3106 ahead of the European open, only to be pressed back to $1.3091 in early
European dealing. Tech traders late Monday noted a buy signal triggered and
suggested it could expose $1.3170. Awaiting confirmation of this call. A light
UK domestic data calendar Tuesday. BOE Broadbent testifies to parliament at
1435GMT. Cable resistance noted into Monday's high of $1.3134, a break to expose
next resistance area between $1.3154/64. Support $1.3085/80, $1.3055/50 and
Monday's low of $1.3028.
