The combination of the pullback from the cycle highs observed in breakevens earlier this year and the adoption of the higher for longer mantra in recent rounds of Fed rhetoric has allowed our weighted U.S. real yield monitor move to the highest level observed since early ’19 ahead of Tuesday’s CPI release. Monday’s soft Tsy auction results would have provided a boost for the measure in intra-day terms.
