GILT SUMMARY: Recriminations continue to swirl following the sacking of Defence
Secretary Gavin Williamson, who steadfastly denies any wrongdoing and alleges he
was tried in a 'kangaroo court'. The immediate impact on May is limited, but the
episode further highlights the breakdown in cabinet discipline and sense of
chaos surrounding the beleaguered PM. 
- Ahead of the BoE meeting short sterling futures are broadly 0.5-1.0 ticks
lower.
- Gilts opened weaker today but have rallied during the morning. Current yield
levels: 2-year 0.746%, 5-year 0.892%, 10-year 1.159%, 30-year 1.671%.
- The Jun-19 gilt future trades at 127.57, 2 ticks off the high.
- Looking ahead, tomorrow will see the release of the Services and Composite
PMIs for April.
