Russian primary crude refining averaged 5.38m b/d over Nov. 7-13 period – the highest since August as capacity returned from seasonal maintenance according to a Bloomberg source.

  • The runs are 260kbd higher w/w and around 150kbd higher than for most of October.
  • Reuters sources reported earlier that unsophisticated Russian refineries were struggling to remain open because of sustained weak margins. Tuapse, Ilsky and Novoshakhtinsky in particular have struggled.
